Beyond DJing
Behind the DJ booth is one of the music industry’s most experienced behind-the-scenes professionals.
Buster toured extensively with the rap trio Migos as their recording engineer, live sound engineer for nightclub performances, and backup DJ. During his time living in Atlanta, he worked closely within the creative circles surrounding Offset and Cardi B, participating in recording sessions alongside many of today’s biggest recording artists.
Over the course of his music industry career, Buster has contributed to projects representing more than 35 RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications. Before entering the executive side of the business, he toured internationally as a drummer, performing in more than 40 countries and virtually every major city across the United States.
As an A&R executive and music industry consultant, Buster has worked with and helped develop projects involving some of the world’s most recognizable artists. In 2025, he worked directly with Kanye West and The All-American Rejects during several of the year’s most talked-about releases and campaigns. His broader career includes work connected to artists such as Ciara, Soulja Boy, Wuki, Nicole Scherzinger, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Party Favor, Diplo, Madonna, Quavo, Takeoff, Lil Baby, Steve Aoki, DaBaby, G-Eazy, Dillon Francis, and many others, while contributing to projects tied to premier festivals including Coachella and Tomorrowland.
Today, Buster also operates an artist relations and booking business, maintaining relationships with hundreds of artists, managers, and industry professionals. For clients planning luxury weddings, corporate events, festivals, or large-scale celebrations, he can often assist with sourcing celebrity performers, surprise guest appearances, or nationally recognized DJs through his extensive network of more than 400 artists.
